No. This is a secure site and we highly respect your privacy. The only way someone can edit your story is if they have your password.

How long can my story be?

Who owns the copyright to my story?

By uploading your stories/pictures you agree that the Department of Transport and Main Roads has permission to use this story for up to 5 years. If the Department of Transport and Main Roads wishes to use your story/video/images etc for purposes outside of this internet site they will seek your permission, as the original author, prior to use.

What do you mean by ‘moderated’?

Think of our moderators as protectors. This is a very special site and we are very careful to make sure it is treated with dignity and respect. A moderator ensures all stories published are genuine and presented in an appropriate manner.

If I share a story, will people be able to contact me?

No. We respect your privacy and do not release private details under any circumstances.

What is AEST?

Why do I sometimes have to sign in again?

For security of your story, if you are inactive for 120 minutes when you are signed in, we automatically sign you out. This is just in case you may be on a shared computer etc
